Complementary Rock Climbing Course

Rock climbing is a sport that requires many different disciplines and technical skills. To climb safely and efficiently in different environments, it is important that your skills can be used in a coordinated manner.

If you have previously participated in guided climbs in different areas and now want to climb more independently with your partner in the places you visit, this course is designed specifically for this transition process.

This training is planned specifically for the individual and their partner team, rather than being a standard program.

Every climber has different strengths and areas that need improvement. Rather than following a general program, this course focuses on the real needs of you and your partner. The goal is to make your existing skills safer, more consistent, and applicable in different conditions. From small technical adjustments to comprehensive safety reviews, the right steps to support your development are determined together.

Why This Course?
DSCF4214.JPG

This course is suitable for those who have previously climbed outdoors, gained climbing experience in different areas with a guide, and now want to climb more independently with their partner.

It is also suitable for climbers who, despite having climbed for a long time, do not feel sufficiently comfortable with certain technical or safety issues and wish to review and refresh their knowledge.

It offers a particularly productive training process for teams participating as partners.

Who is this Course Suitable For?

This course is not suitable for those who are new to rock climbing and have not yet acquired basic safety and security knowledge. Participants at this level are advised to take a beginner-level course first.

Similarly, this course is not suitable for participants seeking advanced technical training, multi-pitch climbing, or mountaineering-focused training. Different, more specialized training programs are required for these goals.

If you are unsure of your level, you can contact us before registering so that we can determine the most suitable training for you together.

Who is this Course Not Suitable For?

The training begins directly at the crag. First, we get to know you and your partner better:

    •    Your technical level

    •    Your approach to risk management

    •    The decisions you make during climbing

We observe and understand your expectations through a short conversation. While you climb with your partner, your instructor watches you, identifying your strengths and areas for improvement.

Following this assessment, a goal-oriented training plan tailored to your needs is created, and practical exercises are used to address any gaps step by step.

In some cases, minor technical adjustments and confidence refreshers are sufficient, while in others, multiple days of practice may be required. Our goal is not to waste time with unnecessary repetition; it is to provide you with an efficient and clear development process in the areas where you truly need it.

How Do We Proceed?

  • Season-appropriate sports shoes or light trekking shoes

  • At least 1 liter of water

  • Snacks (fruit, nuts, or sandwiches)

  • A small backpack
