Advanced Rock Climbing Course
(Level 2)

If you are ready to take the next step to climb independently and safely with your own partner, both in the gym and on real rock, this course is designed for you.

The advanced sport climbing training lasts 3 days and builds on the knowledge learned at the beginner level. At the beginning of the training, any missing topics are briefly reviewed, and then the following topics are covered:

  • Recognizing lead climbing equipment and different usage scenarios

  • Ensuring the safety of the lead climber (lead belay)

  •  Fall arrest and safe fall management

  • Route reading and planning your own line

  • Lead climbing practice and decision-making on the rope

We recognize that climbing is not only a physical sport, but also a mental one. Therefore, throughout the training, we focus not only on technical development, but also on stress management, coping with fear, and building trust with yourself and your partner. Our instructors closely monitor each participant's progress and provide support when needed.

By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge and experience to safely lead climbs in different areas and with different partners.

If you have completed the beginner level and now want to climb confidently with your own partner in different areas, this course prepares you for independent climbing. In addition to technical skills, the mental preparation required for lead climbing is also addressed step by step. The goal is not to progress quickly, but to develop a solid, safe, and sustainable climbing habit.

Why This Course?
IMG_9665_edited.jpg

This course is suitable for individuals who have completed beginner-level rock climbing training or possess similar fundamental skills. If you can climb safely using a top-rope system and have basic safety knowledge, you are ready to progress to lead climbing.

It is also suitable for participants who have previously climbed indoors but have no experience lead climbing on real rock. Similarly, those who have been climbing for a long time and wish to refresh their technical and safety knowledge will also benefit from this course.

Being open to learning and prioritizing safe climbing is more important than physical performance. The training progresses according to each participant's level and pace.

Who is this Course Suitable For?

This course is not suitable for those who are new to rock climbing. We recommend that participants who have not previously taken a beginner-level course or who have not practiced climbing and belaying safely using a top-rope system first take a beginner-level course.

Furthermore, this training is not suitable for participants who are not ready to take on the safety responsibilities required for lead climbing or who are unwilling to work diligently on equipment use and risk management.

If you are unsure of your level, please contact us before registering so we can determine the most suitable course together.
