Climbing
Geyikbayırı is the largest sport climbing area in Turkey. In addition to advanced routes, there are numerous routes suitable for beginners and intermediate climbers. Thanks to this diversity, it is an ideal area for those who want to climb at different difficulty levels and styles. Here, you can find routes ranging from 4 to 9a. Furthermore, you can travel to 3 different climbing areas within a 45-minute drive at the most.
Routes and Sectors
There are about 1000 routes and over 20 sectors in Geyikbayırı. These routes and sectors, which can be chosen according to different seasons and weather conditions, also stand out in terms of their varying degrees of difficulty and style. Within the same area, you can climb huge stalactites, overhanging roofs and balancy slabs! In general, the routes are between 20 m and 40 m, so an 80m rope is recommended.
Access
Access to the routes is quite practical. After parking your car on the main road, you can reach even the most distant sectors with short 10-15 minute walks. It is also possible to stay at campsites located very close to the climbing areas and have direct access to the routes.
Route Maintenance
The main reason Geyikbayırı has become one of Europe's most popular areas is the quality of its routes and the continuous route maintenance and inspections carried out. Local route developers and volunteers here address the needs of the routes in the area and make updates to the routes to ensure safety where necessary.

Hiking Trails
Geyikbayırı is located at the Antalya end of the Lycian Way hiking trail. From here, the trail connects to Hisarçandır. If you want to do something lighter, there are other hiking trails in the region as well! One of the easiest, most popular and, in our opinion, the most enjoyable is the trail to the ancient city of Trebenna. It is also possible to hike up Geyik Sivrisi Mountain, which can be seen from anywhere in Geyikbayırı and inspires awe at every glance. Even if you have advanced climbing skills, it may be a good idea to seek help from professionals in the area for this mountain, which is as imposing as it looks. This is because even the easiest, most classic route is more dangerous than it appears.
