Fall Training

One of your greatest allies in climbing is knowing how to fall and manage the emotions that arise in that moment.

Whether you're top-roping or lead climbing, as long as you fear falling, it becomes difficult to recognize your limits and push them further. We understand what falling means and how delicately the emotions experienced during that moment must be managed.

That feeling holding you back when you're about to make the move,

A move that looks easy from below but makes it hard to muster the courage when you're back on the route,

Not feeling enough trust from your partner,

Even if you know the distance is short, that fall still feeling “big” in your mind...

All of these are perfectly normal.

If you want to come to terms with these feelings and take your climbing to the next level, this training is for you.

  • Those who have started rock climbing and can move independently on the rock

  • Preferably those with lead climbing knowledge

  • Those who have been climbing for a long time but have mental or partner-related confidence issues regarding falling

Who is this Course Suitable For?

  • Those who have not yet learned the basic techniques of rock climbing

  • Those who have not completed the necessary beginner or advanced training

In this case, we recommend that you first complete your basic training and practice climbing with a partner for a while. We would then be happy to support you with fall training.

Who is this Course Not Suitable For?

On the day of climbing, we meet at a point close to the area and plan the day with a brief introduction. We go to a sector suitable for your level and start climbing on a comfortable route.

  1. First, we identify together the points that challenge or bother you.

  2. Then we choose a suitable route for fall training.

  3. We demonstrate the correct fall techniques step by step. At this stage, we belay you.

  4. We discuss the process with brief evaluations and analyses.

  5. Once you feel ready and safe, we move on to fall practice.

Throughout this process, we continuously monitor your physical and emotional state, progressing without pushing you too hard or surprising you.

You can participate in the training alone or with your partner. This allows us to observe your partner's belaying habits and make any necessary adjustments immediately.

How Do We Proceed?

  • Season-appropriate sports shoes or light trekking shoes

  • At least 1 liter of water

  • Snacks (fruit, nuts, or sandwiches)
